iTN201 acts as the access node in the Raisecom intelligent transport network product line, and is mainly applicable for broadband Carrier Ethernet E-Line/E-LAN/E-Tree access services and packet-based 3G/LTE mobile backhaul (P-MBH) solutions. As a new-generation PTN network terminal, RAISECOM has a small iTN165-4GE4E1/iTN167-4GC4E1-BL-S product, used in multi-service Packet Switched Networks (PSNs) for both business leased lines and mobile backhaul. These products provide rich functionality in terms of network resiliency, protection, Carrier Ethernet service and management. Specifically, both of them support IEEE G.8031 and G.8032 (ELPS/ERPS), IEEE 802.3ah Link OAM, IEEE 802.1ag end-to-end connectivity OAM, ITU-T Y.1731 end-to-end performance diagnostic, and MPLS-TP. It is also important to note that iTN201 not only plays the role of the Ordinary Clock (OC; master/slave) and the Transparent Clock (TC), but also of the Boundary Clock (BC), that is responsible for conversions of different encapsulations. The iTN165-4GE4E1 supports 512 PWs for PWE3.
